NUA keeps evolving: three new ways to train better

Every week we work to make NUA a better companion for endurance athletes.
If you don't know it yet, NUA is an AI companion for endurance athletes. It goes far beyond a traditional AI assistant: it understands your context, learns from your training, knows your goals and uses all of your data to help you make better decisions about training, nutrition and recovery.
Here are three of the new things you can already start using.
01Smart reminders that understand context
One of the most requested features is now available: you can ask NUA to remember anything for you, straight from the chat.
For example:
- "Remind me to bring the gels on Saturday at 8:00."
- "Tomorrow at 11:50, remind me to drop by the bike shop."
- "Every weekday at 15:00, remind me to take my creatine."
NUA understands one-off and recurring reminders (daily, weekly, weekdays, fortnightly or monthly), and you can manage them just by talking to it. You can ask what reminders you have active, change them or cancel them without ever leaving the conversation.
But the interesting part happens behind the scenes.
Whatever you ask for always reaches you. What NUA decides is how and when it fits best. Before writing to you it looks at the context of the conversation: if you're in the middle of something, it waits until you're done instead of cutting you off, and when it does write, it ties the reminder to what you were talking about rather than dropping an automated message on you.
The goal is simple: to help you when you actually need it, without becoming yet another source of notifications.
02NUA now understands images too
Explaining something in writing isn't always easier.
That's why you can now send images straight to NUA so it can analyse them using everything it already knows about you.
Some examples:
- Photograph a meal to estimate calories and macronutrients.
- Send a screenshot of a session recorded in another app.
- Share a blood test to better understand the results.
- Show a sports nutrition product and ask whether it fits your goals.
- Analyse any information related to training, recovery or performance.
The difference compared to a general-purpose AI is that NUA doesn't analyse the image in isolation.
It interprets it taking into account both your current context and your whole history: where you are in the season, your goals, your training load, your progression, your data and everything it already knows about you. So every answer is genuinely adapted to your situation, and not just to the image you've sent.
03Upload .FIT files and analyse any session
We've also added support for .FIT and .GPX files.
You can now send a file generated by your watch or bike computer directly, and NUA will analyse the session automatically.
This is especially useful if you haven't connected platforms like Strava, Garmin, Wahoo or intervals.icu yet, or if you simply want to share one specific activity.
Once it receives the file, NUA interprets all the training data and folds it into your personal context. The activity enters your history exactly as if it had arrived from your device, with the same analysis and the same follow-up.
It doesn't just analyse that session: it relates it to how you've been training, your goals, your load, your progression and the rest of your history, to offer far more relevant and personalised recommendations.
It's a simple way to keep NUA up to date, whatever platform you use.
