GFNY NYC is the gran fondo world championship, with an iconic start from the George Washington Bridge and a 137 km route with nearly 2,000 m of climbing. After a fast start through New Jersey and the Palisades, decisive climbs arrive: Mott Farm Road, Gate Hill and Cheesecote, before the demanding finish in Fort Lee. You need solid endurance, training on 5-10 km climbs and readiness for pace changes on rolling terrain.
